On Tuesday, 1 December 2015, ORPEA’s Ethics and Scientific Committee awarded the first Excellence Awards to the three winning teams that submitted the best initiatives or programmes in clinical ethics, research and innovation in care.
Twelve projects, from all the Group’s European subsidiaries, competed in the awards and the three winners were:
• Charter for the home carer by the Bois-Bougy facility (Switzerland) in the “Clinical Ethics” category;
• Discovery of a bio-behavioural marker for chronic stress conditions by the Lyon-Champvert (France) facility in the “Research” category;
• “Living without pain” project by Senecura (Austria) in the “Innovation in Care” category.
