Our commitment to residents and patients

Our staff of 55,000 people devote all their skills and professional conscience to the day-to-day well-being of our residents and patients, treating them with respect, assuring their safety and being attentive to their every need.

The ORPEA Charter sets out our commitments in terms of general and medical care, comfort, catering, social activities, information, etc., in order to meet their needs as closely as possible.

In each facility, a multi-disciplinary team draws a care plan for each person and, in our nursing homes, residents are also offered an individual living plan.

We perform satisfaction surveys to make sure we meet the expectations of the residents and patients in our care. These surveys are carried out:
•    when patients leave our facilities;
•    annually among residents and their families;
•    among GPs and other professionals involved.

All of our facilities are monitored by the Quality Department, Medical Department and Works Department to make sure that residents and patients are cared for in a safe and secure environment. They monitor all aspects of the general and medical care, comfort and safety afforded by our facilities to ensure that each person enjoys the right care for their individual needs.
