Founded in 1989, the ORPEA Group is today one of the world's leading players in the support of vulnerable people and offers a true continuum of care in the care pathways it builds:  Home Services, Follow-up Care and Rehabilitation Clinics, Mental Health Clinics, Retirement Homes and Residential Services. 

 
We are fully aware of the importance of our social and societal responsibility. Our mission is at the heart of a humanity that takes on a greater meaning every day. Our job is to take care of the most fragile, to become part of life stories. Beyond their medical expertise, our employees are thus indispensable links on a daily basis with the patients and residents who have chosen the Group. It is by developing more inclusive models, initiatives and partnerships with all of our local and national stakeholders that the Group envisages this care.
 
Internationalisation is at the heart of our strategy by opening new facilities and seizing development opportunities in high-potential areas. This policy is supported by an internal organisation that enables our teams to adapt to external growth. Today, the Group has more than 1,000 facilities in 22 countries in Europe, China and Latin America.
 
It is by applying a rigorous approach to continuously improve the care of our residents and patients that we continue to grow. Research and Innovation, responsibility and solidarity, shared human values are the foundations of the Group's construction. They are also the pillars to guarantee comfort, safety, well-being and essential links in daily life for all.
